Dear Cooper Cougar Student and Parent,
My name is Jason Burkhart and I want to tell you that I am honored and excited to be serving your child and our community as Principal of Kenneth Cooper Middle School!

Cooper Middle School is a great place to grow and learn. We have some of the most outstanding teachers in the state working to provide academic and social growth for your child. I would like you all to know I am here for you. I respect you all as parents and I am here to serve your child, and ensure they are safe, they are academically challenged to succeed, that they are supported with the changes that happen when students grow as middle schoolers and transition into high schoolers. The Cooper family embraces each student with love and respect for the uniqueness of who they are, where they come from, and the heights they will achieve. I would encourage every one of our Cooper Cougars to get involved in some sort of school activity. KCMS has a lot to offer when it comes to sports, fine arts, clubs, tech, and leadership.  

 I am so very excited to welcome you to Kenneth Cooper Middle School!  It’s a great day to be a Cooper Cougar!!
