
🎻🎺 Orchestra and Band students from all three high schools are traveling to London over winter break to perform at the London New Year Day Parade and Festival! Last night, all three orchestras performed a beautiful send-off concert for their supporters.
2️⃣ This will be the 2nd time that Putnam City Schools has been personally invited by the Lord Mayor to perform in London!
🎷 Band will perform in the parade, which will be broadcast live on PBS.
🎶 Orchestra will perform on stage at the St. John's Smith Square on January 2nd.
🤩 We are so proud of our talented, tenacious, and pioneering musicians, their directors, and our community for representing Putnam City in such a big way!








🎶 We love all of the holiday concerts around the District. 🎁 'Tis the Season for the Fine Arts! We stopped by the Putnam City High School Orchestras concert last night because they had a special guest singer, Superintendent Dr. Rhodes! 🤩 🎻 He sang a special song with lyrics by Putnam City's very own, Kathlyn Reynolds. Did you know we have a Singing Superintendent? 🎤






The Putnam City High School 12 Days of Christmas Assembly was a well-coordinated mix of holiday cheer, inside jokes, and spirited chaos that only the Pirates can pull off from year to year.







Celebrating our Diversity Night was a beautiful embrace of what makes us unique. 🌎 There was food from around the world, spirited performances, informative displays, and colorful activities for everyone to celebrate the richness of our community. 💫

Elementary students from around the District gathered together at Putnam City High School today for the Stars of the Future event! In every direction, one could hear the sights and sounds of determination, encouragement, fun, and creativity. These kids will change the world someday!






At Native American Heritage Night, family and friends were able to immerse themselves in the vibrant traditions of tribal dances, regalia, and explore the wealth of resources that Oklahoma City has to offer. Our District's support staff are truly the glue that holds us together. 🤗 All Support Staff were treated to a wonderful appreciation luncheon sponsored by the PCESP. A few lucky hard workers even left with some awesome prizes thanks to donations from our amazing community. Thank you for all you do, PC Support Staff! 💙🧡

The 11th annual PCH and PCW JROTC march and push-up contest was a textbook display of spirit, camaraderie, grit, and competition. PCH Air Force JROTC Cadets marched in formation from PCH to the Bethany Fire Department, where they met up with PCW Army JROTC Cadets for a high-stakes push-up contest, before the PCW Cadets marched from there to PCW. PCH JROTC took home the push-up contest win, breaking PCW's 2-year streak.






PC Alumni Going Boldly - Are you keeping up with MLB? If so, then you've probably seen Andrew Heaney with the Texas Rangers! ⚾️ Andrew is a 2009 grad from Putnam City High School and also attended Rollingwood Elementary and James L. Capps Middle School. The Rangers won the ALCS championship and are moving on to the World Series. Way to go Andrew! You make us #PCproud! #GoBoldly

Tanner wood becomes the first male Pirate cheerleader to make the All State cheer squad. He is also the first cheerleader from Putnam City selected since 2016!

Our amazing teachers and staff participated in the Putnam City Teaching & Learning Conference for today's professional development day. 📚 These dedicated professional educators, leaders, mentors, lifelong learners, and superheroes acquired many valuable new skills and lessons today that they'll use to teach their students tomorrow. ✏️








With no shortage of spirit on either side, the Pirates took home the Battle of the Expressway win for the 2nd year over the Panthers! Final score: 56-20. 🏴☠️🐾

The Pirate Unified Sports team kicked off their new season with a great showing at Unified Horseshoes last week! The Pirates took home 4 first place ribbons, 7 second place ribbons, and 1 third place ribbon!


Elementary students from across the District attended the Hispanic Heritage Living History Museum today at Putnam City West! "Seat at the Table" students from all three high schools brought prominent Hispanics, past and present, to life as a unique and innovative way to celebrate and teach Hispanic Heritage.

There were different departments, vendors, and organizations from across Putnam City and the metro, all of them ready to help and answer questions.
